I’ll start with my list of “I’m not”. I can admit, I love the look of all of these modern presets. Rustic filters, film presets, the list goes on. As much as I adore the look, I can try a million times over to place some over my own work and I am never satisfied. I am not a prop driven photographer. I’m not the photographer that dreams up sets and scenes to place my couples or families in. I’m not scared of creating but I do love the real. I love the connection of two people in love. I love capturing families being themselves. I love capturing moments.
That being said —- If you have an idea, it’s so important you share it with me! We can gather inspiration together and talk about how we can make your session goals a reality. With a few small items we can build a final gallery of your story. —- Robyn didn’t need help with much, she knew she wanted rustic and woodsy, so I suggested the location. She brought along her grandfathers latern and a blanket Jarred had gifted her from a trip to Peru. These aren’t just props, they are their story —- where they came from, how their love grew. Then throw in a couple who’s chemistry is flowing…… enjoy!
